Hi Linny and welcome. I too am new.

I don't have children so unfortunately cannot relate to your feelings but can only assume it's a natural feeling. We all feel protective over the ones we love, be it children, parents and even our pets :)

Hi Linny

Welcome to the forum, you will find a lot of help in here.

I seem to constantly worrying about my kids now, they are 9 and 10 and want to go round to their friends house, which means crossing roads.

It sends me mad when they go out, i can't relax until there're back home and safe. It's got a bit better now because we got them cheap mobile phones which they have to have with them at all times. It reassures me that i can ring them whenever to see what they are up to and where they are (every 5 minutes!!!!!) You are not alone here.

Take care.
