40mg prozac

I've been taking prozac for a few months now (i've lost track) I started on 10mg then 20mg then in the past 3 weeks moved up to 40mg.
I think its made a difference in my mood, but not my anxiety.
No side effects except really vivid dreams!
I know it's against the rules but i took 80mg(4, 20mg pills) today because I wanted the anxiety to go away. Do you think this will be a significant difference.
I have social anxiety, possibly avpd, does prozac help with this?

Hi - NO do not take anymore! Prozac is very stimulating - it will make your anxiety much worse! Do not self medicate - don't want to lecture you but I have found the higher the dose the more anxiety. I was on it 20mg for 15 years when it was no longer working was upped to 40mg - practically climbing the walls - go back and see your doctor.
