Bad throat doctor says fine

I have a bad throat even hurts to swallow every time went doctors he said can't see anything must be a virus of some sort starting to panic me tho now :weep:

Ahh sounds like tonsilitis to me, although id of thought the doctor would notice straight away if it was..
Are your glands in your neck swollen? If you've had this over a week and the doctor hasn't run any tests i'd request to see a different doctor which your perfectly entitled to do.

Yes swollen glance he looked down my throat stuck a plank of wood down it if I'm honest hurts wen I swallow but I had my tonsil out wen I was 7 well about that age anyway

Not much help but a maybe reasurring. my friend has had the same since Christmas and even went to see a specialist the other day and was told everything was fine and it probaly was due to her anxiety. Or have you maybe got ulcers down your throat, its hard to see them if they are right down, I get them quite often and have sore throat with them that can last a while as it takes ages to clear up x

Hi terror,

I had a sore throat for about 4 months last year and the GPs couldn't see anything wrong and a strep test came back negative.

What I didn't realise was that my general anxiety was getting worse and worse and this was a symptom of it. Next stop, painful stomach, more migraines and extreme anxiety attacks.

I didn't recognise it because it was a new symptom for me and it really hurt. Anxiety never ceases to spring new surprises on me - not good ones, I hasten to add!

Might be your cause too?

No sure to be honest it hurts a lot I have some throat soothes anyway let's hope they work andi have started new medication omeprozole

Mmmm and ive been on the tablets 3 days had the throat for 2

So I moaned the other ay that why roast as sore couldn't swollen or anything hurts every time I do swallow now today along with it I now have a chesty cough. Wit h is put me into some what of a little panic doctors says nothing there he can see loos fine but it's hurting me hard to swallow anything it hurts that much. :lac::weep::weep:
