sorry for anther post but just remembered i got a phone call yesterday about an appointment seein the neurologist as my appointment in early march i waited 3 months for was cancelled anyway i was wonderin what to expect with tonights appointment?? anyone seen a neurologist and can run me through roughly what will happen as im very nervous :( xx

Good luck for tonight :)

A friend of mine was referred to a neurologist by her GP recently - she thought she was going to have a scan !

However, the neurologist talked through the symptoms she was having, her lifestyle etc etc and then took a look at her eyes. Said that could see nothing that suggested a scan was required and thought that a trip to the opticians would be a good starting place for the frequent and prolonged headaches!!

Don't be nervous, just see it as a starting point for you to get to the bottom of it all.

I am sure that you will be fine because I do firmly believe that you are suffering crippling anxiety and it is manifesting itself in all sorts of horrible symptoms which are causing you so much distress.
