Hiya- replied to you in another section but - yes - I know exactly what you mean - I get dizzy and feel the air is heavy and cant breathe and then I panic and feel worse and scared I will passout and not breathe. Its happened loads of times and I ve been fine so really I should just remember that it happens every year when its hot and humid and that im fine and my body breathes on its own - it doesnt need me worrying all the time -but thats so difficult when you are at work and the air pressses on your face as its so humid!!
Just hang on in there - belly breathe slowly and calmly and think cool relaxing thoughts....... Hope it helps. Love wenjoy xxx

My panic attacks are brought on my hyperventilation, if I don't control them then I get a panic attack. Even if I've done some exercising I have to calm my breathing down, very annoying.

I seem to over breathe all the time. I am always sighing, yawning and taking deep breaths in. The result seems to be a constant feeling of lightheadedness and palpitations. I also have bad muscle tension in my neck and shoulder especially on my left side.

If I am distracted, I don't notice it as much but if I become focused on my breathing it gets bad. My doctor siad that breathing only happens naturally when you don't think about it. As soon as you do think about it, you do it all wrong! That seems to make sense as I always sleep well and never feel wierd then. I tend to notice palpitations when I walk up a hill, run up the stairs or lift something heavy - this is natural but once I am aware of my heart beating fast, it takes a long time to right itself because I am thinking about it all the time.

I do find that holding my breath slows my heart and breathing down considerably.
