Desperate for sleep!!!!

Hi to you all
Hope you doing ok.....can anyone recommend a herbal/ natural medication to help me sleep..... really desperate now!!!! I am really nervous
of taking anything new but I have to try something....I'm reluctant to take
anything prescribe by the GP because don't want to be totally zonked out
I have a disabled 14 yr old son who tends to be up and about in the night
do I just want something that will help me to drift off.

I took Nytol (the blue box,not herbal) and it really helped

what about cammolie tea and a good book?

I tried herbal tablets called Somnus a few years ago which were brilliant. I'm not sure if they are around anymore as I haven't been able to find them since. I have found Sominex Herbal and tried these a couple of days ago - have you tried these?

The only alternative I can think of is some soothing music - I'd recommend something like Dan Gibson Solitudes Natural sleep inducement. Good luck
