dose increase help?

Hi i have been on citalopram for over five weeks on 20mg although i can function normally again im still far from myself. i want to enjoy life again there is no readon not to so dont understand it, i have constant mind chatter with the fear of never being myself. will a dose increase help? seems lifted depression to certain degree. is it too early days?

Hi TJ,

I'm only 3 1/2 weeks into taking Cit but have read its best to leave it 6-8 weeks before you get the full benefits. I'd give your GP a ring Tuesday and see what they say. Sure someone who has been on it longer would be able to give you some better advice. Good luck and take care.
