accupuncture for anxiety?

i read this somewhere the other day that accupuncture can help with anxiety i duno if this works or even how it works anyway but has anyone tried it and if so did it help at all? x

Hi Dizzydoll,

As far as I am aware, acupunture has only been proven to be beneficial for back/neck pain on the NHS. I have had acupunture for both anxiety and back/neck pain in the past (not NHS). It helped a bit in the short term but if I'm honest it had no long term effects, but everyone's different!

Massages work better for me for both my back and anxiety.
