Hi all,

I am just wondering if anybody else is nervous because its friday the 13th. I'm not a particularly superstitious usually however I woke up feeling very anxious and when I realised the date it made me very nervous and I don't really know why. If anybody can relate please leave me a post,

my anxiety is back today.......i swear its cos its friday the 13th!!!:winks:

seriously...i wouldnt pay too much attention to the date.....it would affect us all if it was that bad wouldnt it xxx

Yeah I know its stupid to worry because of a date and really I know that nothings going to happen it is just because I'm feeling anxious and its like my brain is looking for things to worry about.

yes anxiety does that..im sorry if i made light of your worry,..i know its not nice.
i have anxiety and its far from funny..i was trying to be cheerful for you xxxx :bighug1:

I have no problems with Friday 13th.

My mum always told me it was a lucky day because I was actually born on Friday 13th :) so it doesn't bother me at all and I also consider 13 to be my lucky number!!

Try not to worry though, it's just another day really.......:hugs:

It doesn't bother me but I understand that it's another reason for some people's anxiety to raise its ugly head.

Only another 6 1/2 hours of it though.

Oh I know you guys are trying to cheer me up :) I'm not so worried about it being friday 13th now as its almost over and nothing bads happened. Just my anxiety spreading itself to whatever it can.

Haha, thanks for all your replies. I'm really not superstitious either! I guess my mind just looks for things to panic about. Bloody anxiety, feeling a lot better now though.

Totally understand how you feel, i always feel anxious about a Friday 13th and like you I'm not really superstitious. My mind just makes me think something bad is going to happen, and yet again as it's now the 14th nothing ever does!!! bliming anxiety grr
