Its really panicking me, had it for 3 days now. It doesn't help my neuro fears one bit. Any tips on how to get rid

Hi Jade,

Are you taking any medications that could be contributing towards the taste?

If your anxiety has been high lately then the taste in your mouth could actually be adrenaline.

Have you tried chewing minted gum?

Ive started on propranolol recently but there is nothing in the side effects that mention this as a side effect. I have experienced it once before a couple of weeks ago before I started taking the tablets though so doubt its that. Yes very high anxiety at the moment, but its been pretty high for last few months.

Hi I don't if they are available off prescription but I know Nystan pastilles help - ask your doctor or chemist. Good Luck

Oh - think they may have been discontinued! ask your pharmacist for something similar.

I've found drinking sparkling water helps, the fizz somewhat takes that taste away.

Thanks for replies, I'm going to get some Rennie/antacid as my mouth is burning a little too.
