Urinating alot in a morning - can tea make you wee three times in an hour??? Please

Hi all

I'm still urinating a lot :( I've had two cups of tea and one decaffe coffee would that make me wee three times in an hour ??

I am sick of this worry driving me mad!

yes, tea and coffee can irritate the bladder. My gyny told me to give them up but I cant give up my tea. 3 cups of fluid would probably make me want to wee that much, plus worrying about weeing does make us go more.

Strangely enough, I've discovered that somedays I will need the loo more frequently even if I've not had anything to drink. It's a mystery where it comes from. The urine is also perfectely clear. I know that coffee can make me urinate more, regardless of normal or decafe.

Also, I believe that IBS can make urination more frequent as well.

I suppose it's better out than in!

I'm in a worry mode today! This weeing just won't go but some days are better than others!

I will try and cut out the tea see if it helps!

And I do have ibs so perhaps this is contributing to the problem, sick of going my docs when they keep saying it's anxiety :( but I've had every test going!
