When you touch where your ribs end in the middle of your tummy above your belly button does it feel empty or like there is something there ? i am driving myself mad with this and have been trying to research for ages to no avail .....

Do you feel something like a lump? I mean I can feel my abdominal muscle there ... I am confused by what you mean.

I went to the doctor with this - answer was it's pefectly normally. I had convinced myself it was a huge lump of some kind, but apprently it s bit of carteledge or something which holds you ribs together, so without it you might fall to bits!

Can't even feel it now!:blush:

At least I'm not the only one thankyou, I thought for most people it was just empty there maybe its because I am not very skinny , I keep poking and prodding and obviously it is quite sore now ! Just another thing for me to fixate
on xx
