THERAPY APPOINTMENT TAKING AGES!!

Is anyone else waiting for an appointment to see a therapist?? If you have already seen one, I'd be interested to know how long the appointment took to come through. I've been waiting a few months now and still nothing. [Sigh...]

My GP said that they would send a questionnaire through for me to fill out and then they would determine how urgent my case was based on my answers. I havent even received that yet!!!!!

Maybe I should just learn to be a little more patient......

I was told 6-10 months for mine so I went private.

i waited for 5 months to get my appointment through. just when i'd given up waiting it arrived. it dosn't help our anxiety tho does it, allnthis waiting.

Hi Curly, mine came through really quickly, if you are really concerned go and have another word with your GP to see if they can move it along a bit quicker

Hmmm, yes, going private - theres an intereseting idea!!! Might just do that!
