hello everyone,

I suffer from o.c.d (only obsessional thoughts) and was given cipralex 20 m.g a day to replace seroxat.
i was reading that cipralex is not an affective medication for o.c.d, and 20 m.g is too little dose for o.c.d.
I would like to ask if anyone is taking cipralex for o.c.d, and if 20 m.g is a good dose for trating o.c.d

thanks for any reply, and best wishes for everybody.

Hi Mali,

I am taking Cipralex but it's for panic attacks, not OCD. However, I will say that it has worked wonders on me and has made my general outlook on life much more positive.

Not sure about dosage but 20mg is the maximum licensed dosage for Cipralex. I am not sure if it is licensed specifically for OCD but like most SSRI's I think it is widely used for it
