Hey everyone

I know at my age it's very unlikely to be a heart attack (I'm 27) and it would be unlikely I'd be typing this but I'm having some issues that I'm worried are related to my heart. I know that breathlessness is a sign of anxiety but what worries me is the left arm pain and also the slight pain in my left shoulder blade. It's worrying me a lot. Is this something normal for anxiety???

There's not much history of heart problems in my family aside from my grandfather.

Hiya...

I'm 27 too Hun and I currently have some left chest pain but im anxious at the moment and can't get to sleep as I'm a little panicked....I always have chest pains and achy arms...it's always best to discuss chest pain with your GP but I would think it's the good old anxiety.....
So many peeps om here talk about chest pains....I get more worried about my hearts slow resting rate with breathlessness thinking my hearts going to stop....clearly our brains make our bodies react to this....

Xxx

Aw I hope you manage to get some sleep! I haven't really mentioned my pains to my new GP so perhaps should but I know I've had the breathlessness in the past, just dont think it's ever been this bad. I think im most likely over exerting myself but you do worry like what if..

My pulse is always on the faster side, don't know why particularly...

Hi Lu. Like you say at your age, its highly unlikely,

Through my journey I've learned the more you pay attention to twinges etc the worse you feel the pain etc thus adding more fuel to your anxious cycle. Just try relax, I'm sure your fine hun xx
