Does Cipralex work 2 time round?

Hi I'm new to this site but have been reading earlier posts which have helped me!
I was on Cipralex 6 months ago for a year then 6 months off, then my anxiety came back and started on 5mg of cipralex the the doctor upped it to 10mg which i have been taking for 3 weeks but i still feel no better feel down in the dumps and anxiety all the time!! The first time i took it was great i felt like the old me i just don't seem to be feeling that this time!!

Hi Madhead

I am going through a similar situation to yourself. I had a year free of cipralex with no panic attacks for that year.

They did start to return in March.

I decided to start back on cirpalex and found that they took around twice as long to have the same effect. I am not quite there yet after 8 weeks but I am a lot better than when I started. I also had worse side effects this time.

All I can suggest is just stick with it and it will get better.
