I am new to this so please steer me in the right direction. Am 33 next month with 2 kids and just started prozac for their sake I guess. This morning I woke up with a gut wrenching feeling within my soul. By mid day I really wanted to die and its almost the end of the day and have taken my first dose.

Is this the first day of taking Prozac? if so it will take a couple of weeks before you feel any benefits from it.
