Sharp pain under left breast

I have been getting a sharp pain under my left breast on and off since the weekend. It only happens a couple of times a day, not sure if it is stress. I am sure I have had it before a couple of Years ago and it just went away. Thanks for any advice

Could it be gas? I've been having this ALL freakin' day & it's driving me MAD! It hurts, and after weeks of stressing out, I'm guessing it has something to do with my IBS.
Could it be gas or acid perhaps?

i had this for years, i can go ages without it happening, i usually wake up in the night n have awful pain ache under n behind mainly my left breast, i orig thought was heart connected, but a recent ecg says my hearts fine! its not gas or heartburn etc i know those feelings; for me it 99% of time happens when i wake up morning or during night so must be how im sleeping??!! but its not nice n can be scary. usually if its your heart you will feel pain discomfort in left arm to. it is possible may pulled little muscle but im no doctor. i would def go see your doctor though if it persists or gets worse xx

sounds musculoskeletal in your case, i get stiffness in the morning

Can I just be so bold as to correct you here - I hope you don't mind.

Heart attack pain is usually felt in the middle of the chest and either arm can be effected. Mine was the right arm and not the left.

Pain under the left breast by the heart is usually not heart related as such

I get sharp pains under and in my breasts now and again, it always turns out to be trapped wind (for me personally). I usually test it by drinking some coke and it always helps shift it.
