i have had panic attacks on and off for 2 years and they are quite bad at the moment the doctors wants me to have my adrenalglans checked this making me panic even more can any one help

Hi Ian, what sort of tests are you having? I had mine checked last year, I had to have the 3x24hr urine collection test, which luckily it came back negative. Don't panic hun, I'm sure there is nothing to worry about, it is probably just routine. It is prob just good old fashioned anxiety=panic attacks.

I had my adrenal gland hormones checked through a saliva test - I had to collect saliva 4 times over a day. It showed that my adrenal glands were exhausted, my cortisol and dhea were way too low because I'd depleted them through panic and anxiety. This explaines why I was so exhausted and wasn't sleeping too. However through improving my diet and taking supplements my hormone levels are recovering and I'm starting to feel better.
