Burning tongue and a bit red on tip, help please!

Hi there

Since yesterday morning I've had a sore red tip on Tongue, doesn't look as red today but still sore! I've been googling and now I'm in a flap, has anyone else had this with health anxiety??

yeah, probably just a cold sore or something similar. I get that every once in a while and it goes away in a few days.

And you are rubbing the tip of your tongue on your teeth and making it worse, right?

It will heal within the next week or so if you stop doing that.

Hi thanks for the replys, don't know how it's got like this perhaps I burnt it on some food but can't remember, that's what it feels like anyway, hope it goes and sick of running my doctors everyone I get something new to focus on, wish I didn't think everything was major but I do then go into a flap when I start searching the Internet for ideas as to why it's red and sore on my Tongue :(
