View Full Version : still sensation of something back of mouth/throat!

hi guys, winding myself up yet again because i stll feel that i have something at back of my mouth or roof of my throat, its been couple of weeks now on and off, when im occupied i dont notice it but in the morning or at night or when im not doing anything i then start to try to cough or hack it up without any results! im now worried it mite be a lump or something sinister, anyone offer me any help please?

I had symptoms the same as this lasting about 3 months.The bowel and
the throat are influenced by the mind more than any other part of your body.You say that you don't notice it all the time ? That's the key, keep
the mind busy,distract your thoughts, God knows it's not easy but it can
be done !!
I can assure you it's just anxiety.

Hi Saintdee

This is a common anxiety problem and it seems likely anxiety is the cause as the symptoms go away when you are distracted. It might be worth checking it out with a doctor if you are concerned.
