Locked In Social Phobia

I’m just a girl
A nobody you’ll know
A call me bad names
And I’ll cry and have to go


A not so strong and sturdy
So easily afraid
A regretter in my thoughts
And of mistakes I’ve made


A girl that likes to give
And lives within her heart
A swallower of your debris
That you’ve thrown right from the start


Normal on the outside
A girl with fears within
A million truths tie my mouth
And hide within my grin


A hand being held out
Within her imagination
In the hopes that you’ll pull her in
And take a load from her frustration


A shout out coming from her lips
A plea to be rid of fear
Her cry reaching you within a letter
A hope that you are near


A “why me?” kicking at her brain
A white flag waving from afar
I’m locked in Social Phobia
