Can anxiety really cause itching???? Help!!

Hi everyone

Please can you reassure me I'm very itchy all over particularly my scalp and arms but it moves eveyewhere, after googling I'm now freaked that it could be lymphoma :((( xxx

Well i itch all over aswell and never thought anything of it..

I get really bad itching with anxiety, particually my head, neck and the small of my back.

hi yes anxiety does cause itching esp scalp neck, and chest my doc said that to me when i went to see him about my itching

do you have a rash after youve scratched like little heat bumps ? and also i get a warm burning feeling in the area aswell

My anxiety causes excema! I have flare ups of it whenever I have anxiety attacks. That could be what you are experiencing, and then worrying about it, vicious cycle!
