sertraline "smell"

ever since I started Sertraline (3 months) I have been able to detect an odour (not too unpleasant) seems to seep from pores (and urine) - anyone else get this ??

Hi newsty, I'm a newbie so only just read your question. I have been on 100mg for a few months now and can't say I've noticed any odour - get terrible night sweats though.

I haven't noticed this either but night sweats can be a problem. Could it be something else causing this maybe?

I have a fast/lazy metabolism and everything comes through my pores. Any meds I take affect my natural (honey sweet, of course :roflmao:) odour.

Some are worse than others (paracetamol doesn't affect me at all, for example) but the worst things I've ever taken were anti-depressants (prozac/fluoxetine, amytriptyline and - the very worst of all - citalopram).

I find they also really affect my smell and taste, so it's hard to tell how much was the actual smell and how much was the way I smelled it (if that makes sense!)
