Hi
i know i have posted a fair few breathing posts in the past and i appreciate all replies recieved.

I still cant get my head around how i can feel like im struggling to breathe most the day everyday, i have read alot (i know i shouldnt) about asthma and i have all the symptoms, i have bad wheezy chest when breathing in and out most times, i dont have a constant cough but i do have one often along side wheezing.
Im ALWAYS short of breath. so bad i cant even walk a short distance without been breathless and i cant always get full sentences. I cant walk up stairs i have to do it bit by bit, iv never smoked and im 24.

Turning over in bed at night makes me breathless even! i always have like a feeling as if something tight is around my neck and pressure on my chest.

I can go on and on but main problems breathing. I cant deal with it anymore and i cant do things id like to with my 4 kids, its ruining my life, im housebound.

am ito wait til im on floor gasping for air and unconcious? or what. i have had a peak flow and my chest listened to, had iron tablets took them.. im ok now and feel worse still. I really think its asthma but doctor doesnt.

Can stress make you feel like this?

Yup, I've had chest pains and breathing problems for 4 months ... do you get a pain in your chest or does it just feel tight? Is it on any one side in particular?

it feels really tight, and when its tight it hurts when i try taking a deep breathe, like a stabbing pain. Most the time my chest is achy on the left side, which hurts when i breathe also, its like just under my collar bone, abit further down. Cant live like this.

feels like my pain.... it has gotten less severe over the past couple of months but I just assume there is something wrong with my heart (typical HA) ... which there most likely isn't!! Is it a constant pain you have?
