Lump in armpit

I haven't been here for a while as I've not been feeling too bad. However I am currently 24 weeks pregnant and have found a lump in my armpit. I have seen my gp and he said it was possibly a sabaceous cyst and to keep my eye in it. Stupidly I have googled cysts and I'm not convinced that is what I've got.

Do you think it is something related to the pregnancy? My doctor said I'm not the first pregnant women who he's seen with these lumps. Although my health anxiety is screaming cancer...

Pregnancy doesn't help with my irrational thoughts...sigh x

I think you have to believe your doctor on this one to be honest.

Enjoy the pregnancy and try not to worry about it and like the doc says keep an eye on it but don't worry ok

sebaceous cysts are very common in pregnancy
I had a hard non mobile lump in mine which got scanned for all kinds but is just a enlarged lymph node but nothing that concerns them.

I got asked loads if I was pregnant and one day I snapped and said 'why do you keep asking me' and they replied with 'sebaceous cysts or swollen armpit glands are very common in pregnancy' it can be something to do with the milk production and hormones.
