hi guys just wondering if any of u overanalys things. i tend to pick a situation from my health to everyday situTions and blow them up into massive problems it makes me ill and makes my life feel like its worthless. any advice please x

Its called catastrophising ( sorry can't spell!) which is what we are all doing either just health wise or with other things as well.

We immediately jump to worse case scenario. Cognitive behavioural therapy can sometimes help alot ( it helped me understand what i was doing but wasn't a cure for me).

I find that its anything that I feel I have no control over which is mostly health symptoms or not being able to sleep but other things can also produce the same feeling of panic.

Have you asked your Dr for cbt therapy?

GAD and HA like me. CBT is the answer.

Countrygirl, you spelt catastrophising correctly. :)

The worst case scenario needs to be weighed against other more likely outcomes.
