Does anyone no if you have a lump, and it moves s little is it likely to be anything serious? X

I have loads of swollen lymph nodes at the minute and my doctors aren't worried about them because they are all small and moveable (this just means they have some movement, even if only a little bit. Some lumps cannot move as freely as others because of the position they are in).
So yeah, in my experience, I tend to think of cancerous growths as being rock hard and fixed in place but that's not to say there aren't exceptions! I have a cyst for example that has never been moveable but the doctors say it's fine.

Go see your doc and if they think there's reason to refer you, they will. For now though, try not to keep poking and prodding the lump. I know this is easier said than done but trust me you'll feel a lot better if you can break the constant cycle of poking.
