Think I broke my nose...help!!!

A door got slammed in my face earlier. Ouch!

My nose doesn't appear swollen or black-and-blue, but it hurts and is difficult to breathe through...does that sound broken, or merely bruised? My GP doesn't work on the weekends, so I've nowhere to go...what should I do? It hurts, and I'm alone and panicking bad.

Try some ice on it if you can stand it, take some advil for pain. Try to relax if it will make ou feel better go to the emergency . Try not to let it panic you if you can .:bighug1:

I'd be surprized if you broke it. No brusing or bleeding or swelling.
Maybe get an x-ray done at your local hospital ?
Or ring the NHS nurse line for advice.
Small breaks or fractures require no threatment .
It's very common , so ice it down and take pain meds :)
Bigger brakes are much more obvious , bleeding, crocked nose, bumps etc . .
If you can't breath through the nose and there's no blood it will just be the mucous then that are reacting to the trauma.

Why are you panicking? If its broke its broke. So what? Its not going to spread. Sorry, not being harsh, I just dont see what the problem is. Chill out.
