burning inside nose . . . any ideas pse ???

Hi all,

I have never suffered with hay fever or allergies but for the last week on and off I had an awful burning feeling inside my nose ( both nostrils ) It feels like Ive sniffed over a burning candle !!!

I just wondered if anyone else has suffered with this and what remedies they used.
Im guessing its something to do with the hot weather because if I think about it too much it will be a symptom of MS .

sounds like an allergy or hayfever, I suggest you see your gp who will be able to prescribe a lotion that you squirt up your nose.

Is your nose very dry? That can make your nose sore too.

Medication can dry up your mucous membranes . Lots of nasal sprays you can use. Always check with your DR anyway.

thanx for replies. Went to pharmacy and they sold me an anti-allergy spray which is helping a bit. If it doesnt go Ill ask the practice nurse- but Im hoping it goes !!!!!!
