Anyone relate?

Not really a problem, but just wondered if anyone else gets this.
I can be just watching tv etc and a something will trigger a past feeling or memory, that lasts few seconds, so fast I don't remember what it was another few seconds later. Happened earlier, got a fleeting memory, but past through my mind so quick, I can't recall it now.
Not déjà vu though, as it's not related to what I'm doing at the time.
Sometimes something will just remind me of something else completely unrelated.
Then it just bugs me, but have to let it go as no point dwelling when I won't remember it again.

Absolutley get this and mostly when it's to do with a smell or something, in particular changing of seasons ..... Sometimes it can be a anxious memory or a nice one....

I'm sure it's got something to do with the sub conscious mind?

Oh yes I get this alot. Smells, certain sounds but definitely smells get to me. Makes me sad sometimes as it reminds me of when I was young and well - carefree!
