Hi all

The one thing that annoys me most about my anxiety is that I ruminate about it a lot - I cannot seem to switch off from thinking about it. Does anyone else ruminate a lot or is it just me?

Hi there, sorry you are having a rough time right now. I believe it is our thoughts that make us worse!!!!We wake and think, gosh i hope i don't feel dizzy/panicky/palpitations today, and straight away off we go.It is not easy, by no means, but if it is at all possible to break the cycle it will definately help. They are symptoms, they won't hurt us, we have had them many times before and apart from feeling dreadful, still survived. Sorry no sound advice, but i do think if we could slightly alter our thoughts (if only) things would gradually improve, others will be along soon to offer some advice. take care and keep in touch xx

Thanks for your post carlin :) I do feel like that most mornings [Sigh...] I'm trying to learn how to cope with the anxiety but its difficult to not let it overwhelm me.
