Ativan help worry of withdrawal

I have been taking 0.5 mg Ativan daily for the past month
I take .25 am and .25 pm. Will I have withdrawals if I don't take
It for a few days? Is this a long enough time to cause dependency? It's
Helping me with my anxiety immensely but I worry about the long term use...

I take it of and on and do not seem to have problems with it at low doses but it is good to ask your doc.

You are in too low a dose and stopping it wont give u any withdrawal symptoms. To be on the safe side you can wean off by taking 0.25mg a day for a week then 0.25mg for another week before stopping completely. Best advice of course is from your physician.

I was at first taking 4mg/day spaced out evenly and I'm now down to 1mg am and 0.5mg pm. So weaning would take a little longer for me.
