Evening all I have not posted on here for a long time but have been in a very bad way the last few days.

I experienced some severe anxiety on sunday, and even though it did not turn into a full blown panic attack, it really shook me up. Generally when the adrenaline slows down, I start to feel better, but to honest I have felt extremley agitated since then. I cant relax, I am very restless. I feel like I have a tight band around my head, and it wont ease. I cant concentrate on anything.

Has anyone got any tips to help me relax, as I feel exhausted but really jittery.

You have probably heard all these tips before, but these are the things that I do to take my mind off my constant panic/anxiety:

Try to keep busy, doing houswork, go out for a walk, play computer games, look at pictures in magazines if you cannot concentrate on the text.

It is difficult when you are agitated, but try not to rush when distracting yourself from your anxiety, as it only fuels the adrenaline rush.

Relaxation/Hypnotherapy CD's

Sorry I can't think of anything else.

I feel the exact same way..but mine has been pretty constant for about a week. I am a total mess.....I cant shake it at all.....
