Please help

Hi all im just looking for a bit of reassurance if possible.. I was in hospital 3 weeks ago with chest pain and they did ecg and blood work anyway it came back fine and am waiting on appointment for stress test to be done. The last two days though i have been having pain in chest with a burning feeling and palpitations and im just curious to know if anyone else suffers with this.??? I dont feel anxious at least i dont think i do... Hospital doc said the only thing i have going against me where my heart is concered is i smoke so ill b waiting for a stress test a while.

Yeah i do...I ended up at emergency doctor based in our local hospital twice in the past with the exact same thing. Chest pains had me on my knees which sometimes incorporated a burning sensation. I was more concerned about the pain because i was convinced there was a problem with my heart.

To cut a long story short. It turned out to be acid reflux. They say this pain can mimic a heart attack.

Your symptoms seem identical to mine and it's so easily treated.

Try to be assured that it's NOT serious as the tests would have show problems.
