coming off flupentixol and feel dreadful!

Hi all,

came off flupentixol for anxiety over a week ago. initially felt fine but now feel like crap!!! Worse anxiety than before I started! I had been on it for 4 months!!

Anyone have any experience re coming off fluanxol / flupentixol?

Hi, I haven't been on this med, I'm on citalopram but with most meds you will have side effects coming off it and often that can that you anxiety becomes worse.
Did you come off them slowly and with assistance from your dr? Were you really ready to come off them?
Also have you tried counselling or cognitive behaviour therapy? These might help.
