View Full Version : Its Loneliness, Not Depression.
Found a fantastic article. It talks about loneliness and depression. I wonder how many of us confuse loneliness with depression. Or how many people on here with depRession and anxiety are lonely.

It's linked, there's no doubt about that, anxiety of course is linked with depression but loneliness is also a part of it, some forms of anxiety cause loneliness and depression. So in that situation loneliness is not being confused with anxiety&depression.
Maybe there are some people who are just lonely and feel a bit glum about it but if they have no anxiety or depression then that is different. Just my opinion.
I feel that I've been lonely as long as I can remember (basically all my life & I'm nearly 50 now) & have always felt this way. I remain optimistic that maybe one day I'll connect with others. I don't feel depressed, I just live in hope.
