Hi all. Currently have depression, although have had panic / anxiety on and off since April 1993. I believe in medication and I believe in talking (although try not to ruminate) Never used a site like this before, but have been feeling pretty low lately, and was a previous member of this organisation in 1998. I'm always willing to help, and feel that, for first timers, the knowledge that the feelings are shared by a large number of other people is, in itself, therapeutic.

I agree with you Ian,

Knowing that I am not alone with my panic and phobias, makes me feel almost 'normal'.

It has made it easier for me to talk to people about my anxiety knowing that there are so many others out there with similar problems to me, it gives me hope for the future.

This kind of therapy is free and perhaps the most valuable.

Hope you are feeling better soon.
