Singing is a great way of releasing pent-up tension and anxiety. I rehearse once a week with a choir of about 30 and I absolutely love it! Here's why:
1. good exercise
2. keeps your mind focussed and busy for a good hour (have to concentrate to get those harmonies)
3. good practice at being/working with a group of people
4. making music is very uplifting
5. excellent way to learn/practice good breathing techniques
6. it lets you make a big, lound noise and release all the tension you've had throughout the day!

Yeah I love singing too it is a great de-stressor.
