Hi,
I thought I'd join nomorepanic as at least I'll be amongst those who know how I feel :)

I suffered from panic attacks a few years ago and went on citalopram which was effective. I managed to come off them but recently went back on as the panic started again due to lots of stress.

I've had numerous medical tests as even my dr got worried just after Christmas this year because I had so many weird symptoms. Now they've subsided and I just have most of the panic ones. Lucky me eh? ;)

take care all,speak soon.

Hiya Juniper,

I'm on the same citalopram... how long did you take it before you found a shift in your consious mood? I was climbing the walls after 5 days, but stuck at it and now 3 weeks later I am beginning to have flashes of optimism...

Hi and a very big welcome to you.
I know it is so easy to come of meds. As soon as i start to feel better i just want to stop them. But from prev experience, that can sometimes makes things a whole lot worse. I am doing good at the mo, so very slowly reducing my meds....Fingers crossed for no relapses!!!!

Good luck and take care

Welcome Aboard, Juniper!

Out of interest, what were the strange symptoms?
