Hiya. I was on Citalopram for 10+ years but recently switched to Fluoxetine after having my depression worsen.
I'm really not sure if how I'm feeling/behaving has to do w/ the switch or not. Things that I've noticed that are bothering me more so than usual are:
Not sleeping (completely restless, waking w/ cold sweats)
OCD-like symptoms (constantly checking cell phone, Web sites, e-mails, etc., and really vivid uncomfortable thoughts/images at all times of the day)
Loss of appetite (which is usually related to my anxiety)
Terrible heartburn (which is exacerbated by anxiety)
Feeling really good one day and then completely terrible the next
I've only been on Fluoxetine for 17 days. I'm really hoping that a lot of these things will eventually die down. I guess I'm looking for reassurance or something.
