alcohol and breathlessness

I have had 2 double vodkas tonight watching football.

I came home and got the washing out the machine and putting the clothes out was a chore....felt really lethargic ie drunk and breathless...i have noticed when drunk I get out of puff easy.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Alcohol speeds up your heartrate , it's like when I get heart palpitations or a racing heart I feel very breathless, sometimes dizzy and tired.
