Hello. I'm new. Thought I'd try actually talking to people for a change. Or at least attempting. I mean it is on a computer and not actual people so does it count for a real conversation? Sorry I'm digressing. Anyway I have OCD, social phobia, panic disorder. Triple threat to humanity basically. As I have insomina I'll probably be here at weird hours so if anyone wakes up during the night and is thinking about throwing themselves off a bridge, I'm here. As bad as this life seems, heaven hides on earth you just have to wait for it. Its hard to wait for it to find you but I know its there, I've seen it and while you only get a brief glimpse its worth it. Good luck to us all.

Hi Mack

Welcome to the forum.

I also have social phobia (amongst other things) and started by writing on here, then progressed to chat and msn and from there to phone calls and meeting people in real life.

I do still have problems socialising and communicating verbally but writing here is a good place to start and I hope you find it helpful too.

Karen
