motion sickness in a dream? now cant sleep

i hadn't been asleep for 4 hours and my sister woke me up to do something in the backyard. so i helped knowing i would do it and go right back to sleep. i went back in my room and went to sleep but got motion sick in my dream. now i'm feeling sick because i'm so sleepy but can't get back to sleep. i'm trying to think of all sorts of other things and counting usually works but nothing is working. this is awful and i'm convinced i'll never sleep again :(

I've had this. I woke up feeling really dizzy and I felt so sick. I finally got back to sleep and when I woke up for good, I felt awful. So out of it and dizzy and sick feeling. I was terrified that this would become a new thing, and I thought "great, now I can't even escape in my sleep" but I've had plenty of normal nights of sleep since then.

I have no idea what causes it, other than anxiety I suppose. Have you been sleeping okay since?
