hi ya my names lisa im 31 and have suffered from agoraphobia for 9 years it has got easier sometimes but ive never had help to keep it from comming back so it has always been in the back of my mind even when i was well

Have you visited your GP to talk about somesort of counselling??

Have a hunt around there is some great advice etc here

hi, im waiting to see a clinical pshycologyst for cbt and i see an occupational therapist but shes very hit and miss, so its just a matter of waiting for the hospital. and this site is great and im sure it will be a good help to me

Hi Lisa,

Start off by looking at First Steps on either the introduction section or on the website and seeing if there is anything there that you can incorporate.

Also do look at Darrens posts under panic entitled 'A little further each day'.

Hi Lisa,

Welcome to the site! I can understand what you are going through as I also suffer from panic attacks and the thought of having one is always on my mind. I'm sure you'll find lots of helpful info here and meet lots of nice people.
