Hi everyone, since I have last posted I have had my bloods back and thankfully they are all normal. I testes negative for autoimmune and all other nasty things they look for.

However, I'm still very distressed as my dry eyes and mouth are still the same. Have to use eyes drops every hour or so and have to use dry mouth spray. My mouth gets so dry at night I can't sleep. Despite this I have not got any answers and now have bee given an appointment to see the corneal specialist (I had to ask and press them for this).

I can't help thinking that because of my health anxiety (6years now) they are overlooking my symptoms. Surely it can't be anxiety related. I have not read a post here about anyone who has the same problem as me although people do have either the dry eyes or mouth and not both.

I've now hit rock bottom and have started taking the citalopram, something I refused to do for 5 years. I just need some reassurance as my doctor keeps telling me 'it will pass'. This is something she has always said to me whenever I have gone to her, she is very familiar with my anxiety and I have had all the symptoms under the sun.

Ive had this dry eyes and mouth problem for over 2 months now which is the longest I have ever suffered from one symptom.

Please could anybody help, I'm very upset and can't see myself using eyes drops and mouth spray for the rest of my life, it's getting me down.

Well at least take solace in the fact that you've done all the right things so it is not serious. I have dry eyes but not nearly as bad as you, I just use eye drops morning and night. Are you on any type of medication where this is a side effect? I am on an antihistamine and it is listed as a side effect of that. I have also heard birth control pills can have that as a side effect, which I am also on. Are you hydrated? Do you have allergies?

I'm sure these are all things you may have mentioned already and have tried, so I am sorry if I am not of much help.
