My best memory is getting to hold my newborn son's little finger in an intensive care unit when he was 3 days old and I had not seen him until then. I still did not know at that time if he was going to make it or not but I finally got to see him and touch him. I had a c-section and he was whisked away even though I was awake I had not seen him so this was "our" moment to bond. It was magical. My absolute best memory of all, because deep down I knew he was going to make it - and he did!
