Quick Question if anyone can help!??!

i have just put two ready meals in the oven, one in it's container with pierced film and the other just needed to be emptied in a baking tray, is it safe to cook them together, can any plastic fumes get in the open ready meal?

Hiya - I'm no expert but I would say it's safe. I'm sure they would put some sort of warning on the meal like "do not cook at same time as uncovered meals" if there was any danger.:)

I dont eat ready meals as they are mostly unhealthy foods with unknown quantities of taste enhancers. I always cook from raw unprocessed food. Tastes better and in most cases is cheaper and much better for you. No plastics to leech in to your food and you know whats in it.

Yes Nicola but in most cases it is a lifestyle. Nobody has the time or interest to cook any more and more and more people opt for the ready meal or pub meal. It is a symptom of our busy lives.

We have no idea how often the OP has ready meals that was all.
