Hi, I get this quite alot since I had anxiety, but not all the time. Most obvious at night when I put my head on the pillow *annoying* but I have had it at other times too. Have a chat with your doctor if it's really bothering you, I think it's called pulsating tinnitus. I only usually get it in one ear, so I turn over if it won't stop.

Hi Sarah, so sorry to hear about the loss of your son and your dad :hugs: I hope you are getting some help and support through this difficult time.

I spoke to my GP about it sometime ago, he said this can be fairly common with anxiety and some meds can also cause it. Unless it becomes too bothersome, try not to worry about it. TBH, now my anxiety has reduced, so has the pulsating tinnitus. I only get it occaisionally now.

If it is happening often and causing distress, just have a chat with your doctor. I'm not sure there is much they can do really other than refer you to the ENT specialist. Good luck.

Kitti :)

I am the same as you Kitti, I have been to the doctors and he just smiled and said it is anxiety :) He explained about the blood rushing around quicker when you are anxious making the pulsating sound. I don't hear it when I am not so anxious.
