I have ordered some magnesium tabs, I forget who said that chelated was the best.
I had a good look on the labels at one health shop and that was not on the list so i went to another place and they should be in by tomorrow.
There must be a lot of different types of magnesium tablets. i suppose its trial
and error.
All the best

No, it needn't be trial and error. Chelated Magnesium should be Magnesium Glyncinate / Bisglycinate, the best absorbed Magnesium tablet. Magnesium Oxide is the poorest and will just cause diarrhea. It is cheap and rubbish. Aspartate and Glutamate will likely make your symptoms worse. Magnesium Chloride - found in Magnesium Oil is the best absorbed.

I take all those things in my signature daily. I rattle when I walk! I have no meds from the GP whatsoever.

Taurine is an organic acid that apparently helps Magnsium absorbsion.

From Wiki " It is essential for cardiovascular (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circulatory_system) function, and development and function of skeletal muscle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skeletal_muscle), the retina (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retina) and the central nervous system (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_nervous_system)."
